Photographer, Chris Round speaks to Voight Kampff magazine
Current city: Sydney, Australia
What Inspires you to photograph? Observing the odd and sometimes surreal relationship humans have with their surroundings - we do some rather odd things and they speak volumes about who we are. I also get inspired by seeing and experiencing great ideas by other creative minds - it makes me want to push my own creative exploits that bit further.
First camera you bought? A Pentax ZP-20. Soon upgraded to a Nikon F90.
Soundtrack to your life right now? ‘Jump in to the fog’ - The Wombats. It’s a couple of years old but I’ve enjoyed listening to it again.
Favourite book: ‘Guns, Germs, and Steel’ by Jared Diamond.
Favourite movie: Godfather part 2
